We’ve been providing help and hope to people across the state of Louisiana since 1971 by offering behavioral health and substance abuse treatment. Providing services for patients 4 and up, our confidential, caring environment promotes crisis resolution, positive self-awareness, socials skills, and personal growth through our mental health services and clinical excellence across acute inpatient and outpatient levels of care.
We are here 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to calls.

We offer detoxification and rehabilitation services in a secure, supportive environment that encourages growth and healing. Informed by the 12-step program model, we educate patients and their families on all aspects of the addiction process.
The program is designed to address the effects of combat stress, post-traumatic stress, depression, substance abuse and other behavioral health issues that can impact the lives of service men and women.
The Senior Programs at Brentwood Hospital provide a supportive, respectful environment for seniors age 55 and older with cognitive, emotional and behavioral issues like mood disorders, psychotic disorders, Alzheimer’s disease and more.
ECT is a proven method for treating severe mental health disorders when more standard therapy modalities and medications have not been effective.
Play therapy is most often used with children ages 4 to 12. It can serve as a primary intervention or supportive therapy for behavioral problems, such as anger management, grief and loss, divorce and abandonment, and crisis and trauma or behavioral disorders, such as anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity, autism or pervasive developmental and conduct disorders. Therapeutic play
helps children with social or emotional deficits learn to communicate better, change their behavior, develop problem-solving skills and relate to others in positive ways.
