Individualized Treatment Plans
The program is designed to help patients develop the skills necessary to successfully return to daily routines at home, in the community and at school.
We utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to:
- Strengthen each teen’s ability to identify triggers
- Utilize coping mechanisms
- Improve social skills
- Communicate effectively
- Improve impulse control
- Manage stress
The staff of psychiatrists, therapists, nurses and educators at our teen partial hospitalization program work together to stabilize symptoms and establish an emotional and behavioral skill set that promotes long-term success and mental health.
Teens face unique challenges, and a treatment plan focused on their specific needs can be beneficial. The individualized treatment plans at our teen partial hospitalization program may include:
- Psychiatric evaluation
- Physical examination
- Group and individual therapy
- Family therapy and parenting education
- Health and nutrition education
- Activity and recreational therapy
- Medication management
- Educational support with state-certified teachers
- Individualized discharge and aftercare planning
